Let's Be Frank

Hi friends!!  Welcome to Michelle Talk!

#frankincense

I've been thinking a lot about anxiety this past year.  All of us have been super impacted socially by Covid and it makes sense that some of us may be contending with more anxiety and social related issues as a result.  I personally have been diagnosed with PTSD from several specialists throughout the years and know a bit about the complications of anxiety.  I have friends and family who are burdened with panic disorder and/or frequent panic attacks.  For the most part, I haven't had to deal with many panic attacks (I'm thankful for that)...until this past year.  As a result, I started extensively researching essential oils for aromatherapy to hopefully bring about a natural calming for myself.

What is the first fragrance that comes to your mind when you think of a calming scent??  Many immediately think of Lavender.  This is true. Lavender has long been known for its floral aroma and attractive calming color and many use it for it's "calm without sedating" affect.  I think of RED WINE! RED WINE is also known for it's floral aroma, attractive calming color & FLAVA'

However, today I am super excited to be 'frank with you' and talk about Frankincense.  I am a bit obsessed with Frank these days.  In fact, it is currently diffusing in my kitchen.  Frankincense has a woody, spicy smell and can be inhaled, absorbed through the skin, steeped into a tea or taken as a supplement.  I have always thought of Frankincense as something beneficial for my physical health and not so much for my mental/emotional health.  I have learned through research and my personal experience that it IS fabulous for calming.  Sooo....step aside Lavender because we're going to mix this up a bit.  I am doing a brief live talk tomorrow "Let's Be Frank" to show you how I make a roll on that I carry with me at ALL times and as needed I roll this aromatherapy onto my pulse points, just as you would your perfume.  If you're interested in seeing how I make this simple roll on, please join my live tomorrow morning or watch it later on our Instagram Reel.  I said step aside Lavender not step aside Red Wine.

Thanks for sharing in my first Dandelion Blog!
